A Message from the Founder, Alex.

At “How To Make A Dog,” our mission is to teach owners to help dogs become the best versions of themselves through positive and expert dog training. We believe that every dog deserves to lead a happy and fulfilling life, and that’s why we focus on effective communication, compassion, and guidance.

Our founder’s journey began over 10 years ago when they realized that dogs sometimes need help understanding their environment and learning to be the best dogs they can be. This passion for animal behavior led them to work with various dog facilities, rescues, and shelters, where they specialized in helping dogs with behavior issues.
As our reputation grew, we were sought after by doggy daycares and pet hospitals to train their employees in effective dog-handling techniques and behavior problem-solving. It was then that we decided to formalize our training approach and become certified Canine Behavioral Specialists.

While we offer traditional dog training services, our real passion lies in tackling the tough cases – the ones where owners have tried everything and seen little success. We firmly believe that animal behavior is a complex field that requires a deep understanding and a personal touch. That’s why our training goes beyond just following a script; we focus first on building genuine connections with dogs to earn their respect and trust.

Our success comes from a unique blend of skills, experience, and a natural connection with animals that cannot be taught. We believe that dogs can sense authenticity, confidence, and leadership, and that’s what makes our methods effective and intuitive.
